Almas Art Foundation is delighted to announce its first project for 2024, featuring the Cape Town-based ceramic artist Andile Dyalvane.
The project consists of a documentary film and a publication exploring the trajectory of Andile Dyalvane’s practice from its beginnings in the Eastern Cape.
The documentary was filmed in Dyalvane’s Cape Town studio in September 2023 with Head in the Clouds Films.
The publication Ubunzululwazi Lwabaphantsi (Ancestral Wisdom) provides a career survey with insightful texts by Olivia Barrell and Alexis Dyalvane.
The documentary and the publication will be available from 15 February 2024.
